EduSaga Inc. ("EduSaga", "we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting the privacy of our students and their families. This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you enroll in our programs or use our website. We comply with Alberta's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) and the federal Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

1. Information We Collect

We may collect personal information that you voluntarily provide to us, including:

  • Student Information: Name, age, grade level, school, and academic history.

  • Parent/Guardian Information: Name, email address, phone number, and billing information.

  • Academic Data: Assessment results, progress reports, and performance data from our learning platforms (including SpeedLabs).

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Create and manage your account.

  • Develop personalized learning plans.

  • Process payments and enrollments.

  • Communicate with you about program updates, progress, and events.

  • Monitor and analyze usage to improve our services and platform performance.

We do not sell or trade your personal information. We may share information with third parties that perform services for us or on our behalf, such as our technology partner SpeedLabs for the purpose of providing the personalized learning platform, and payment processors. We will only share the minimum information necessary for them to perform their designated functions.

We use administrative, technical, and physical security measures to help protect your personal information. While we have taken reasonable steps to secure the personal information you provide to us, please be aware that despite our efforts, no security measures are perfect or impenetrable.

Terms of Service

By enrolling in any EduSaga program, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Program Registration and Payment

Enrollment is confirmed upon receipt of full payment for the selected program term or a completed registration for a payment plan. All fees are quoted in Canadian Dollars (CAD) and are subject to GST.

2. Cancellation and Refund Policy
  • Summer Bridge Program: Full refunds are available if cancellation is made in writing at least 14 days prior to the program start date. No refunds will be issued within 14 days of the start date.

  • Scholar Program: This is a year-long commitment. If a student withdraws, a written notice of 30 days is required. The student is responsible for payment for the 30-day notice period.

3. Missed Classes

There are no refunds or make-up classes for sessions missed by the student. We will provide any materials and assignments from the missed class.

4. Program Changes

EduSaga reserves the right to reschedule or cancel classes due to low enrollment or unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, a full refund for the affected sessions will be provided.

Code of Conduct

EduSaga is committed to providing a safe, respectful, and productive learning environment for all students and staff. All participants are expected to adhere to the following code of conduct:

1. Respect

Students must show respect for their instructors, peers, and all EduSaga staff. Bullying, harassment, or any form of discrimination will not be tolerated.

2. Academic Integrity

All work submitted by students must be their own. Plagiarism, cheating, or any other form of academic dishonesty will result in disciplinary action, up to and including removal from the program without a refund.

3. Participation

Students are expected to arrive on time for all sessions, be prepared to learn, and participate actively and constructively in class discussions and activities.

4. Use of Technology

The use of the SpeedLabs platform and other technological resources must be for educational purposes only. Unauthorized use or access is strictly prohibited.

Failure to comply with this Code of Conduct may result in dismissal from the program at the discretion of EduSaga administration.
